Online courses are still a great way to show what you know
Why?
According to LearnDash‘s Laura Lynch, nothing beats instructor-led teaching. YouTube videos are fine for quick tips or short how-tos, but adults learning a new skill need thoughtful, directed instruction. They also learn better and thrive with feedback from the course leader.
You can provide courses online that showcase your skills and talents—and that people will pay for—if you offer added value.
What does added value mean?
Added value can mean, as Lynch points out, interactive content and feedback. Added value can mean live sessions with you. The only limit is your imagination!
We dare you: read the article linked above and jot down at least 5 course ideas you could create during 2021. Send them to us! (Don’t worry: we will not share these ideas with anyone else.)
